Sr. Project Manager – Telecommunications
Hybrid role in the Massachusetts area.
As Senior Project Manager in the Project Management Office (PMO) you will lead and manage the planning, scoping, design, and implementation of telecom operations, communications, and IT network projects across Massachusetts. You will act as the central point of contact and driving force, ensuring projects run smoothly from inception through engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout while meeting all schedule, budget, quality, and client requirements.
Your day will involve working with the project team to drive project deliverables, coordinating with various departments to answer questions from the project team and client, reporting on scope, financials, milestones, and timelines, and keeping the overall project on track and on budget.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full life cycleseen of telecom operations, communications, and IT networkसू projects, driving deliverables and ensuring high quality results.
- Monitor and report on project schedules, budgets, and expenditures to meet time‑sensitive financial targets.
- Host recurring project meetings, drive action items across various departments, and provide guidance to budget forecasting and P6 scheduling teams.
- Establish strong communication channels with clients, internal leadership, walkthrough external partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Determine resource allocation and collaborate with procurement to evaluate and select engineering and construction contractors.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and utility codes.
- Learn the client’s standardized process that outlines tier Valentines project progression from inception through execution while incorporating company SOPs.
- Utilize KPIs to monitor project performance and adjust approach as necessary to meet objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Previous experience in project management, telecom/IT engineering, or a related role.
- 10‑15 years of experience with utilities, electrical system design, installation, and/or maintenance projects.
- Curious and active listener, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and collaborative with a continuous learning mindset.

- Position pays between $120,000 and $155,000 annually; exempt.
