The Senior SQA Engineer who is self-driven, high energy, and eager to learn and grow. This position requires system testing expertise and UI automation. This position is located in our Marlborough, MA headquarters reporting to the Senior Software QA Manager.

• Perform System Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing
• Publish tests and test results using a Test Rail
• Test Plan Development / Builds, Test Case Development / Execution
• Defect Tracking / Reporting / Verification
• Participate in Product Design / Feature Meetings
• Test Environments:
  Identify / Setup / Configure / Maintain
• Develop testing frameworks and test suites/cases
• Function with minimal supervision
• Travel requirement: less than 5%
• Responsible for working with development and project managers to assist in technical decision making
• Ensure cross product implementation consistency
• Work with product teams on solutions

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

• 5-7 years of experience in SQA or product qualification with Bachelor’s degree; or 3-5 years of experience in SQA or product qualification with Master’s degree.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and Pytest.
• Ability to write automated tests for both UI and API.
• Experience in Webservices testing.
• Experience in building and maintaining automated test frameworks based on tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience in database testing.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience in testing Microservices based architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic Understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming concepts.
• Project skills, including planning, estimation of effort.
• Proven track record of proactively working with SQA and development teams.
• Passion for assuring product quality.
• Ability to express ideas clearly in written and oral communications.
• Ability to assess new technologies and test implementations.

• Experience with Azure Dev Ops.
• Experience with Playwright.
• Experience with gRPC API testing.
• Experience working with Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket products.
• Some experience or the desire to learn about utility power systems.
• Strong communication skills that interweave presentation skills with the problem‑solving process.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Well‑developed technical writing skills.

• Must understand and promote best practices regarding SQA methodologies.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand, sit, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co‑workers, and customers. Must use assistance when lifting 50 or more pounds.

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job‑related skills, as well as relevant education or training experience.
