As our Early Education Music Teacher, You'll be the conductor of an orchestra of little minds, ranging from 1 year old to age 7, and responsible for lighting the musical spark that lasts a lifetime! You will be teaching foundational skills in a way that feels like pure play. No forced music here—just joyful, engaging music-making for every family in our brand new school!

You will need a fundamental music background and be able to sing and play an instrument (piano, guitar, ukulele preferred)! This is a part-time position.

Specific duties and responsibilities include the following but the individual will also be expected to perform all the duties necessary which are customarily performed by a person holding this position.

• Provides instruction in group or individual format using a proprietary curriculum based on method books and specific methodology and arrangements created for Bach to Rock Music Schools
• Creates a warm and welcoming class environment in which young children can feel safe and cared for
• Moves, sets up and breaks down equipment at the school and school events
• Assists B2R management with customer service and prospect phone calls when needed
• Assists with moving furniture, equipment and materials
• Assists in basic repair of minor site equipment and instruments

• Must demonstrate an understanding of basic music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts in a developmentally appropriate and age appropriate manner with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
• Must play a musical instrument – piano, keys, or guitar preferred
• Must be able to sing in tune and a cappella (unaccompanied)
• Must demonstrate the ability to run basic sound equipment, computers and power point presentations
• Must be able to be physically present at the facility during its hours of operation
• Ability to pass a background check

Certificate and / or degrees in one or more of the following:

• Elementary Education
• Music Education
• Early Childhood Education
• Music Therapy
• Those who are currently enrolled in a degree program in one of the three listed majors will also be considered
• Years of experience in the subject area may be substituted for degree or licensure

Must be proficient in English speaking and writing skills. Additional language skills a plus.
