Aspen Systems is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Purchaser / Buyer to manage the procurement of materials, components, and services. This role supports daily operations by ensuring the right products are purchased at the right price and delivered on time. The ideal candidate has experience in purchasing, supplier negotiation, and working in a fast‑paced environment.

• Purchase materials, components, and services to support operations
• Issue and track purchase orders using ERP/MRP systems
• Source new suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and planning teams
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and pricing data
• Support inventory management and cost‑control initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs

• 2+ years of purchasing, buying, or procurement experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Manufacturing or industrial purchasing experience
• Build‑to‑print or technical purchasing environment
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
