Job Summary:
The Internal Communications Specialist will support communication of benefits information to all associates. This role focuses on reviewing, updating, testing, and distributing benefits documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency across platforms and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Review Summary Plan Description (SPD), Benefits Guides, and Summaries to ensure documents reflect all updates
Test populations in Service Now to ensure Associates' view is accurate, using defined testing expectations
Create multiple versions of benefits documents using an approved base (e.g., Benefits Guide)
Evaluate and track inventory and status of 100 Summary Plan Descriptions, sending documents to print and coordinating with vendor for pickup
Edit and format documents using MS Word and Adobe PDF
Required Experience:
Experience reviewing and updating benefits-related documentation
Experience managing multiple document versions and tracking document status
Experience coordinating with print vendors and managing documentation workflows
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Knowledge of Service Now
Experience supporting benefits communications in a corporate environment
Fluency in Spanish
Required Skills:
MS Word
Adobe Acrobat (PDF editing)
Strong organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
Critical thinking
Service Now knowledge
Spanish language fluency
Additional Skills:
No Excel required
Ability to test populations using defined testing expectations
