What To Expect
Tesla Toronto Automation is looking for a talented Logistics Analyst to join our world‑class team. We seek a dynamic, skilled, and cost‑conscious professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. This role involves overseeing various types of shipments, ensuring alignment with stakeholders’ unique requirements.
What You'll Do- Prioritize and collaborate with internal stakeholders on daily/spare parts shipments, update rush project tracker spreadsheet, communicate status to internal/external stakeholders, and obtain PODs as requested
- Create internal invoices for completed projects when requested
- Handle order entry, shipping documents, and invoicing for external vendors
- Update M1 ERP system for orders and shipments with packaging, customs details, HTS code, and COO, while managing HS classification, tariff details, and sending customs documentation to brokers for clearance support
- Submit shipment requests and monitor through Ad Hoc, process shipping labels and/or BOLs, and collaborate with Ad Hoc team for special shipments like Hazmat, LTL, specialized equipment, and various projects
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers for Air, Ocean, LTL, FTL, and specialized equipment shipments
- Support government portals like CARM, ACE, and CERS declarations for international shipments, while assisting internal stakeholders with local and cross‑border inbound/outbound shipments and vendor returns
- Degree in related fields such as Business Administration, International Business, Logistics Supply Chain or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain
- Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, with data entry skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
- Problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal supervision, while working well in a team environment
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills, goal‑oriented, task‑focused, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to take initiative and adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, deadline‑focused environment with effective communication across multiple departmental levels
- Role supports multiple nearby locations requiring local travel between sites when needed, with other duties assigned as per business needs
