Senior Python Developer

We are a technology company building cutting edge enterprise software to “change the game” in online advertising. The company is headquartered in downtown San Francisco (SOMA) with offices at Toronto and Asia. We are growing quickly and are looking to build out a team of talented technical talent who are ready to explore the advanced advertising technology.

We are seeking an experienced Python developer to work closely with our engineering team to translate their creations into elegant, fast, responsive websites and web applications. The ideal candidate is an individual who thrives on new challenges, possesses a strong web development background, and has the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Write clean, unit-tested code with an eye towards performance and maintainability
• Analyze requirements, wireframes, and APIs of related applications to propose integration solutions
• Assist team in decomposing user stories into tasks, estimating the effort, and planning sprints
• Work with team leads to identify and address project impediments
• Strive constantly to improve the health of our applications with forward-thinking code improvements, process refinement, and new tooling

• Have 4+ years development experience
• Experience with server-side application development in Python using Django
• Experience with Angular
  
  JS or React is a plus
• Solid expertise with open web standards technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including jQuery and other libraries
• Experience with databases like MySQL and/or MongoDB
• Experience with working independently and managing technical team simultaneously, as required
• Appreciate great design and thrive in a creative environment
• Remain communicative and clear under tight deadlines
• Have strong personal organization and attention to detail
