Industrial Electrician (Afternoon Shift)
We are looking for a highly motivated, “hands‑on” individual to join our Electrical Assembly Team in the building and assembly of control panels and wiring of field devices for a new generation of high-speed, automated manufacturing equipment. The role includes interpreting electrical schematics and device layout drawings, populating panel back plates, point-to-point wiring, and field wiring of machine control devices with some travel for machine installation and commissioning support.
Shift: Monday–Thursday 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM & Friday 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The afternoon shift includes a 10% shift premium.
Responsibilities- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, panel building, executing precise point‑to‑point wiring for machinery panels
- Wiring and connecting field control devices for custom automated systems, including motors and transformers
- Conducting tests and debugging of electrical systems, including commissioning, installation, and troubleshooting of PLC‑based systems
- Installing and troubleshooting machinery both at the customer’s site and on‑site.
- Adhering to strict 5S standards and maintaining cleanliness on the floor and within automation cells
- Performing other related duties as assigned
- Diploma or electrical certification with 4+ years of experience in electrical assembly for automated machinery; 442A or 309A Electrician’s License or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical standards, PLCs, sensors, motor drives, servomotors, and pneumatic controls
- Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical engineering drawings to wire components accurately
- Proficient with hand tools and electrical measuring tools; must provide personal tool set
- Able to safely operate machine shop equipment and work with high‑voltage systems up to 600V
- Willing and able to travel globally up to 30–60% for equipment installation and commissioning; valid passport required
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and English language skills (written and verbal)
