Millwright - Afternoon Shift
We are hiring a Licensed Millwright (433A Industrial Mechanic) for a leading flexible poly packaging manufacturing facility in Markham. This full‑time role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated, high‑speed manufacturing machinery.
Location:
Markham, Ontario
Shift: Straight Afternoon Shift (4pm‑12am)
Pay Rate: $40‑45/hr (depending on experience)

- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures, equipment breakdowns, and production line issues.
- Install, align, rebuild, and service industrial machinery and components.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Work safely on high‑speed manufacturing equipment, converting machines, presses, conveyors, and web‑handling systems.
- Support equipment upgrades, improvements, and reliability initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and CMMS documentation.
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, electricians, and operators to maximize uptime.
- 433A Licensed Industrial Millwright (required)
- 3+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing, packaging, poly, printing, paper, or other high‑speed industrial environments
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently on Day Shift
- Strong safety record and communication skills
