This is a highly visible and strategic role reporting directly to the General Manager of the Commercial‑Industrial BU under ACP. This role will lead the global product management and marketing team for the Commercial‑Industrial BU to ensure overall business profitability and product competitiveness; build a holistic product strategy and lead the product roadmap, portfolio management and develop go‑to‑market strategy; aggressively grow the business and drive the development of new products and customers in partnership with the global sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and evaluate market trends, competition and disruptive technologies and make strategic choices; develop and adjust product strategy to meet changing market conditions and build competitive advantages; monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
  • Keep close contact and develop strong relationships with strategic customers to understand their priorities and requirements to deliver and drive value for them.
  • System Thinker. Understand all the connections and interlink points and partner closely with internal stakeholders (i.e., Sales, Development Engineering) to build product roadmaps focused on technological differentiation in target applications.
  • In partnership with global Sales to develop go‑to‑market strategy and enhance technical competency of the Sales and distribution channel; grow share with key customer and fully leverage distribution partners.
  • Oversee positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long‑term market share, lead negotiation activities required to finalize contract awards.
  • Balance resource allocation and lead team to execute strategic marketing/sales plans and forecasts on growing business and increasing demand and profitability.
  • Serve as a role model of leadership. Set direction and promote Amphenol entrepreneurial culture by selecting, developing and coaching individuals and building a high performing team, identifying organizational gaps and coming up with plans.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, MBA in Marketing or Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in product management or technical marketing leadership and at least 5 years as a people leader with industry and customer knowledge of Industrial solutions and market segments.
  • Proven commercial and leadership track record to drive global growth, partnering with sales, engineering and operation teams with significant customer exposure at senior executive level in a fast‑paced and changing environment with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment; demonstrable success in creating a global strategy and driving implementation.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership in leading global teams, including experience building and leading highly motivated teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships; strong “selling” skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
