Context of the project:
Management of end-to-end Grid Automation projects (Protection & Automation systems, Digital Substations, and Field Services) across Canada.
The Project Manager ensures financial and contractual performance, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction while leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage project execution from tender to warranty closeout.
- Act as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, finance, and field service activities.
- Monitor scope, budget, timeline, and risk to ensure compliance with PMH standards.
- Forecast sales, cash flow, and margin performance.
- Prepare and present monthly project reviews.
- Lead EHS (safety) initiatives and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Support commercial teams with pre-contract analysis and return-of-experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, or related industry.
- Strong communication skills (English – written and spoken).
- Proven experience managing projects with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Nice to have:
Experience in electricity transmission, distribution, or industrial automation. - Previous work experience in a multicultural or expatriate environment.
- Experience working in field service or customer-facing projects.
