Mandarin/Cantonese Customer Service Representative – Personal and Commercial Line Insurance

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance CSR to join our dynamic team. Both new and seasoned brokers are welcomed. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Assist customers with inquiries related to personal and commercial insurance policies.
- Meet and exceed performance targets set by the management team.
- Provide accurate information on policy coverage and claims processes.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills.
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional insurance products to customers.
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs and service improvements.
- Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
- Actively participate in training initiatives.
- Participate in community marketing initiatives.
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese fluency required.
- Post-secondary education required.
- RIBO license preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance sector.
- Ability to consistently meet and exceed performance targets.
- Strong understanding of personal and commercial insurance policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to resolve customer complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Strong teamwork skills while being accountable for individual success.
- Proven ability to identify upselling opportunities with customers.
