JobOverview
We are seeking a Senior AI Research Engineer to join our dynamic and talented team in Vietnam. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and talented research engineer with a strong background in generative AI, machine learning, deep learning, and software engineering. You will work directly with AI research teams to implement algorithms, conduct experiments, develop research‑oriented software tools, and work together with global research and product teams to bring generative AI models to embedded devices.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, train, optimize and deploy cutting‑edge generative AI models and solutions.
- Conduct large‑scale experiments and iterate rapidly.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Support system design and transition prototypes to production.
- Strong Python and PyTorch programming skills demonstrated through relevant industry experience.
- Hands on experience with both diffusion models and autoregressive transformer‑based architectures.
- Skilled in model training, fine‑tuning, prompt engineering, evaluation, and pipeline optimization.
- Proficient in C++ and Android development.
- Experience with model optimization (e.g., quantization, pruning, distillation), and deployment on‑edge devices and embedded platforms is a big plus.
- Experience with software engineering best practices. Familiar with development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Comfortable working in a distributed team environment.
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Tensor Flow) and programming languages (Python, C++).
- Knowledge of LLMs, LVMs, transformers and diffusion models.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- MSc or PhD, or equivalent experience from a recognized AI Residency program.
- Publications in top‑tier AI/ML conferences.
- Experience in contributing to AI research projects.
- Contributions to open‑source AI projects or community efforts.
- Work in a globally recognized AI research team.
- Contribute to high‑impact, strategically important projects.
