Position Profile

Reporting to the Director, Founder Services Operations, the Senior Manager, Data and Analytics balances strategic vision with hands‑on execution. They’ll bring a proven track record of decision‑making and problem‑solving based on analytics, complementing conceptual thinking skills with a strong quantitative mindset. While owning venture

LAB’s data and reporting schedules and improve process scalability through automations and improvements.

The Senior Manager, Data and Analytics is a strategic and execution‑oriented leader responsible for venture

LAB’s enterprise data strategy, analytics infrastructure, and Salesforce ecosystem. This role balances hands‑on technical leadership with organizational influence, ensuring data integrity, scalable systems, and actionable insights that directly support venture

LAB’s mission and growth objectives.

Beyond system ownership, this role acts as a trusted internal advisor to senior leadership— translating complex data into executive‑level insights, enabling performance management, and proactively identifying opportunities for operational efficiency, automation, and impact measurement.

The Senior Manager leads the evolution of venture

LAB’s analytics maturity, governs cross‑functional data standards, and ensures Salesforce and related platforms operate as an integrated, scalable backbone for the organization.

The Manager, Data and Analytics is also responsible for oversight and delivery of the organization’s internal and external reports and business reviews.

Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance
  • Own and evolve venture

    LAB’s enterprise data strategy aligned with organizational priorities, funder requirements, and growth objectives.
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, including data quality standards, access controls, documentation, and lifecycle management.
  • Serve as the organizational authority on data integrity, definitions, and performance metrics.
  • Anticipate future data needs tied to new programs, funding models, and partnerships.
2. Advanced Analytics
  • Design and oversee advanced analytics frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs used by senior leadership and the Board.
  • Lead the delivery of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), funder reports, and other mission‑critical quantitative reporting.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, decision‑ready insights for executive and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities using data‑driven methodologies.
  • Act as product owner for venture

    LAB’s Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring it scales with organizational complexity. Develop and maintain venture

    LAB’s Salesforce ecosystem through automations and improvements in support of key strategic priorities and activities.
  • Architect and optimize end‑to‑end workflows across Founder Success, Capital Services, Business Development, and Marketing.
  • Lead complex automations, integrations, data models, and system enhancements beyond standard administration.
  • Ensure Salesforce operates as a single source of truth across the organization.
  • Oversee system testing, release management, and platform roadmap planning.
  • Train and support broader venture

    LAB team on Salesforce functionality and best practices.
  • Drive adoption and manage stakeholder expectations for Salesforce changes.
  • Improve Salesforce user experience to increase user adoption and use.
  • Maintain data integrity and practice good governance through automations, validation rules, and proactive system maintenance.
  • Design scalable reports and dashboards that give teams real‑time insights to drive decisions.
  • Work with Operations team to define and make different processes connect, ensuring Salesforce doesn’t just work in silos but drives efficiency across teams.
