** About the Role**## ## The Infrastructure Compute & Storage Team is looking for an Intermediate Systems Administrator to join our team responsible for the management and support of our Hybrid Compute and Storage infrastructure hosting Linux Operating systems.## ## The position and team support delivery of Teranet systems and services availability, as well as multiple hosted client infrastructure systems on a 7 x 24 x 365 basis.  

A secondary focus on batch job scheduling and monitoring systems is required.  Work will also include mid to high complexity projects and assignments, coaching and mentoring skilled, junior level staff.## ## The team operates from our 2 Data Centre locations, Mississauga and North York with a Hybrid remote/onsite work week, at data centre during regular business hours.  Rotational after hours, on-call support required via remote access to systems from home.  

Overtime and off-hours work may be required to support activities and projects outside normal operations.## ##
** What You’ll Be Doing*** ## Supporting Linux Infrastructure Compute and Storage functions* ## Administer and upgrade Compute Environment in Azure and Hyper-V* ## Support Control-M workflow and automation infrastructure* ## Support Solar Winds Monitoring infrastructure* ## Administer and troubleshoot Net App/CVO Storage system alerts* ## Provide 2nd level Infrastructure support to established service level agreements* ## Conduct incident, change and problem management activities per ITIL and Teranet policy* ## Work with Development and other Infrastructure teams to support planned changes* ## Recommend corrective or enhancement actions for issue resolution or system optimization* ## Support scheduled on-call rotations* ## Review and seek out automation opportunities within operational procedures* ## Represent the team in working groups as required* ## Independently solve system problems with minimal supervision and minimal guidance* ## Ensuring infrastructure HA, performance and capacity per SLA and best practices##
** About You**## ##
** Preferred:*** ## University Degree, or equivalent experience in the computing field* ## 5+ years or more of experience in IT infrastructure support role* ##

Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux required (RHCE or equivalent)* ## Proficient Scripting skills* ##

Experience with Azure required (AZ-104 or equivalent)* ##

Experience with Hyper-V required* ## Requisite knowledge and awareness of Network Infrastructure concepts* ## Solid understanding of IT security best practices and vulnerability management* ## Dependable, reliable performance with an eye on continuous improvement opportunities* ## A proactive, take ownership approach to the Infrastructure environment and service levels* ## Ability to exercise judgment and if necessary, justify and report actions taken* ## Dealing with all system…
