Release & Deployment Lead

** Salary:** $75,000 - $85,000
* Execute new software installations at customer sites and remote environments
* Perform system upgrades and version migrations with minimal downtime
* Conduct database migrations, schema updates, and ensure data integrity throughout the process
* Deploy containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms
* Configure software to meet specific customer requirements and environments
* Validate deployments through comprehensive testing and verification procedures
* Coordinate deployment schedules with customer stakeholders and IT teams
* Provide technical guidance and support to customers during deployment activities
* Conduct pre-deployment environment assessments and readiness checks
* Deliver post-deployment training and knowledge transfer to customer teams
* Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide timely resolution
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of experience in customer-facing software deployment or field engineering
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power Shell)
* Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Docker Compose)
* Working knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies
* Understanding of SDLC frameworks (Agile, Dev Ops, CI/CD concepts)
* Experience with basic automation tools and configuration management
* Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows Server, Linux distributions)
* Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and security protocols
* Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployments
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Professional demeanor and ability to represent the company effectively
* Strong documentation and technical writing skills
* Ability to adapt to diverse customer environments and requirements
* Continuous learning mindset to stay current with deployment technologies
* Experience with automation frameworks (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
* Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops)
* Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms
* Background in database administration or data engineering
* Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools
* Industry-specific knowledge relevant to our customer base
