• Help create and maintain Cloud Architectural Artifacts.
• Design, implement and manage networking, firewalling and routing.
• Develop implementation‑level architecture for scalable IaC strategies (e.g., modularization).
• Define platform versus service‑level architecture decisions.
• Contribute to and maintain organization‑wide Architecture Decision Records.
• Enable Cloud policies, procedures and standards.
• Plan for disaster resiliency, recovery and availability.
• Establish IaC tooling, use and quality gating.
• Consult on and select cloud technology stack services in line with scalability, performance, security and compliance requirements.
• Support Cloud operational practices.
• Drive e‑commerce and enterprise‑wide projects.
• Model and optimize cloud infrastructure TCO.
• Monitor resource utilization and demand trends for capacity planning.
• Manage relationships with cloud service providers to ensure smooth operations and support.
• Lead compliance with organizational security practices and auditing.
• Ensure maximal uptime of infrastructure and services through monitoring, alerting and on‑call support.
• Drive best‑in‑class cloud strategies.
• Transfer knowledge, train and mentor cloud practices across the engineering organization.

• Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Google Cloud or AWS.
• Experience with modularized IaC (Terraform, Open Tofu, Ansible, Packer).
• Configuration and secrets management (Consul, Vault, KMS, Consul Template).
• Operational concerns: disaster recovery, monitoring, alerting, change, incident and knowledge management.
• Containerization technologies (Docker, Container
  
  D, Kubernetes, registries, artifact tools).
• Administration of Kubernetes clusters.
• Understanding of microservices principles and API Gateway technologies.
• Event‑driven architecture principles and tooling (Pub Sub, Kafka).
• Serverless computing services (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda).
• Cloud networking concepts: VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, security groups.
• Strong cloud security best practices: IAM, encryption, SAST/DAST tooling.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Watch, EFK/ELK, Open Telemetry, Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic).
• Diagramming tools (Miro, , Figjam, Mermaid).
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience.
