Position: Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA Therapist ON

Overview

Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) on our team is an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support clients in achieving their goals. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions
  • Collect and graph data
  • Maintain client binders and materials
  • Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff
  • Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Uphold Centre policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc. as set out by Monarch House
  • Attend Monarch House social and public events
Schedule, Location, and Compensation

Job Type: Part-time, center-based (Markham) and school-based setting. Travel is required.

Salary: From $21-24/hr

Schedule:
Monday, 8:45 AM - 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Tuesday, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Wednesday, 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Thursday, 8:45 AM - 12:30 PM, 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM, and 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Friday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 noon, 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Saturday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • Able to work independently and comfortable with group work
  • Experiences in tutoring preferred
  • Experiences in camp/group lead/counselor preferred
  • Willing to complete Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Pediatric experience with children of special needs (Autism)
  • Has access to a reliable vehicle and driver license
