Reporting to the Manager
- Distribution Design, the Electrical Engineering Co-op Student will assist the engineering and design team in the design and execution of projects in the high voltage industry.

• Assist Designers/Engineers with drafting work using AutoCAD/Micro Station software and experience customizing AutoCAD/Micro Station scripts and tools
• Provide general administrative support to the division such as keyboarding, faxing, photocopying, scanning, filing, organizing, and expediting information as needed
• Participate in field tasks involving the design, maintenance, inspection, testing, troubleshooting of electrical distribution/substation equipment and data collection as required
• Develop and maintain job/project documentation
• Create and maintain the electronic files/reports system using Microsoft Office and other software

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program. A focus on Electrical Engineering Technology is preferred
• AutoCAD knowledge is a must;
  Micro Station knowledge is an asset
• Previous experience in a related role is an asset
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer software and Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Highly organized with excellent prioritization skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines and multitask
• Good understanding of A/C Power
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of professionalism and business acumen
• Valid G drivers license
