AWS Architect:
On behalf of our Automotive client, Procom is searching for an AWS Architect for an 8 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Markham, Ontario office.

- Job Description:


The AWS Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing efficient applications and services on the AWS platform, with Azure as an asset. This includes migrating on-premises workloads to Azure cloud and supporting the cloud infrastructure. The role involves building and integrating Cloud Landing Zones and ensuring seamless integration with Azure/AWS CI/CD pipelines.

Azure Architect - Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, implement, and operate efficient applications and services in the AWS Platform primarily

• Capture, understand, and assess requirements to build designs for migrating on-premises workloads into AWS and Azure cloud

• Operate and support AWS cloud infrastructure, including storage, compute resources, virtual networks, Azure AD, Azure Security, ARM Templates, App Gateways, manage subscriptions, manage backups, load balancers, and firewalls

• Build and integrate Cloud Landing Zones with Azure and AWS cloud

• Integrate applications with AWS Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) as needed, including Infrastructure as Code

AWS Architect - Mandatory

• Ability to manage multiple concurrently running projects and project tasks

• Ability to interface with vendors

• Ability to coordinate with different business and IT areas

• Working knowledge of ITIL disciplines

• Excellent communication skills, organizational and prioritization skills

• Detailed oriented and internal customer focused

• Self-Motivated

AWS Architect – Nice-to-Have

Skills:



• AWS Architect and Azure Engineering Certificates

• Experience in Microsoft Security and Policies and Microsoft Technologies

• Experience building and deploying resilient AWS cloud architectures

• Experience in migration and modernization of workloads from on-premise data centers to AWS

• Ability to assist with unplanned tasks as needed
