** The Role
** Multimatic’s Mechanisms Engineering team is looking for talented Design Engineers to help create innovative solutions for the world’s leading OEMs. Our team develops everything from Side Door Hinges to advanced motion systems, including Active Aerodynamic Devices and Power Door actuators. In this role, you’ll take automotive components from concept through to high-volume production, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets.

With multiple openings, we welcome candidates at all career stages — whether you bring seasoned technical expertise or are eager to build your skills on complex, high-profile programs.
** Key Responsibilities
** Generating innovative design concepts to satisfy OEM customer requirements  Communicate directly with customers to understand technical requirements, provide design solutions and program updates.
** Qualifications & Skills
** Proven experience in automotive component design, ideally with 3+ years, but no upper limit — we value both seasoned professionals and those looking to take the next step in their career.

Strong knowledge of kinematics, materials, and design for high-volume manufacture and assembly

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.

A genuine passion for the automotive world — ideally demonstrated through personal projects, motor sport involvement, Formula SAE participation, or hands-on work with your own vehicles.
