Senior Mechanical Engineer – Power Generation
Join WSP in Canada to lead mechanical design for renewable, fossil, and emerging power technologies across our Energy division.
What you’ll bring- University Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of EPCM mechanical design experience, preferably industrial facilities
- Licensed professional engineer (P.Eng., Ing., PE) in your province of practice
- Experience in power plant or renewable natural gas plant design
- Proficient with Micro Station, AutoCAD, Smart Plant 3D or CADworx, Caesar II, Auto Pipe, Thermoflow
- Senior technical expertise and client leadership, with mentoring capability
- Design mechanical piping and equipment for renewable and fossil power generation facilities
- Develop P&IDs and sizing calculations for plant systems (steam, fuel gas, hydrogen, utilities)
- Prepare construction/installation scopes and verify deliverables against codes and standards
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical mentoring
BC: $136,200–$187,200 (BC) – final salary may vary based on qualifications and location.
