Salary: CAD 63350.00 - 67773.00 Annually

Responsibilities
  • Produce conceptual designs and technical and tender ready drawings;
  • Design terrestrial and aquatic habitat grading and planting plans;
  • Draft preliminary cost estimates;
  • Prepare tree inventory preservation plan drawings;
  • Create restoration specifications/typicals for drawings and tender packages;
  • Conduct site visits to examine existing conditions, in progress construction, as built conditions, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Design, or equivalent;
  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in planting design and natural features grading preferred;
  • Knowledge of native vegetation communities and flora is an asset;
  • Experience in tree inventory surveys, tree preservation plan drawings and reporting considered an asset;
  • Experience working in and around watercourses considered an asset;
  • Experience in construction and contract administration is considered an asset;
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil3D and Office required (formal training in AutoCAD an asset);
  • Competency in ArcGIS is an asset;
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu an asset;
  • Creative, self‑directed, and motivated to gain new knowledge and skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization and time management skills; and
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle access (required).
