** POSITION SUMMARY
*** Develop, manage, and achieve volume, profit and share objectives on all Smucker Consumer products within assigned account.
* Build strategic relationships with customers to develop JMS brands in the Canadian marketplace
** ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY
*** Develop & implement annual business plans including volume objectives, trade investment budgets and strategies which are consistent with Smucker brand and corporate strategies.
* Work closely with Customer, Team Leader, Category Strategy, Deduction Analysts and internal Smucker stakeholders, to identify, develop and execute annual business building plans for the account.
* Fully utilize all Post Promotion Analysis, Price Modeling and POS resources to better evaluate, plan and execute the business.
* Lead strategic and insight based initiatives for assigned account by leveraging Category & Shopper Insight teams.
* Achieve full line distribution for all Smucker products with emphasis on maximizing product volume and gross margin.
* Establish and maintain frequent contact with account personnel, particularly merchandising, operations, supply chain and finance.
* Achieve desired Accounts Receivable and Trade Investment goals through working closely with Smucker Trade Promotions personnel & Trade Finance.
* Coordinate and communicate all relevant account priorities for retail sales team to achieve desired results through Acosta retail sales personnel (merchandising, pricing, distribution, pricing, planograms).
* Perform Retail Audits in assigned account and competitive retailers to monitor execution of Smucker brands and competitive intel
* Report on all competitive and required information on a timely basis (ie.  Weekly, Qtrly Reviews).
* Work closely with the demand planning team to provide ongoing forecast requirements leveraging ongoing Shipment, Inventory & POS analysis.
** QUALIFICATIONS
* ** Degree, diploma or relevant experience
* Minimum 2 to 3 years Account Management experience
* Proven Leadership Skills and proven ability to execute strategic initiatives
* Excellent negotiating, assessment and analytical abilities
* Proven ability to build and execute business plans with customers
* Fully competent with Microsoft Office applications
* Team and results oriented with effective written & communication skills.
* Flexible, extended hours and workdays required basis meetings and demands of the business and customers
* Valid driver’s licence
* Some extended travel required - 3 to 4 times per year
