Job Type: Permanent

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM;
Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Overtime: Available and paid at a premium rate

is recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Bench Hand Joiner to join their team based Leicester Centre on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a bench hand joiner and experience working on bespoke projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft and assemble wooden components and structures with precision.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce accurate work.
• Operate various joinery machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure high-quality finishes on all projects.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production deadlines.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• NVQ qualification in joinery or a related field.
• Proven experience as a bench hand joiner.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in using joinery tools and machinery.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
