Registered Care Manager - Market Harborough About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Care Manager to lead and develop a newly established domiciliary care office in Market Harborough. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in setting up, registering, and growing a high-quality home care service that delivers outstanding, person-centred care.

You will be responsible for achieving and maintaining CQC registration
, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and building a strong care team from the ground up.

A strong working knowledge of adult social care and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission to oversee the delivery of high-quality home care is essential.

Purpose of the role

To oversee the day-to-day delivery of high-quality homecare services promoting respect, equality and the independence of the people using our service and providing support and leadership to the care staff. The Registered Manager is directly accountable to Head of Care and to the Care Quality Commission.

Salary: £40.000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Community Networking:
    Raise awareness of our services by connecting within the local community and through digital media.
  • Client Acquisition:
    Manage the client journey from initial contact through conversion, following company policies.
  • Quality and Safety:
    Oversee the safety and quality of care services, ensuring we meet regulatory standards.
  • Team Recruitment and Training:
    Assist in recruiting and training Care Professionals and office staff.
  • Care Planning:
    Create and agree upon personalized care plans that respect client wishes, dignity, and privacy.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Implement and manage quality control systems and conduct quality assurance visits.
  • On-Call Support:
    Participate in on-call duties every other week, including weekends.

About You

. Ideally, you have:

  • A clean, full UK driving license
  • Eligible and willing to be registered with the CQC
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care standards
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a start-up service and drive growth
