The Inside Sales Representative – Market Analyst role requires daily communication with external customers, sales teammates, and other NSMAR teammates. The position will be required to manage customer accounts (new/existing) in conjunction with DSMs, quote customer inquiries, enter customer orders, provide customer status updates, and other functions that support the NSMAR Sales team. This role will leverage Power BI and other reporting systems to design and maintain dashboards that provide insights into market trends, pricing dynamics, and customer performance.
Candidates must be self‑motivated and have good organizational and time‑management skills. Successful individuals would be expected to be personally accountable and, at times, may be expected to work with minimal supervision. This position works in the sales office; no remote work is available.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Computer experience with analytical software. Ex:
Power
BI, Minitab, MySQL, etc. - Prior experience in Inside Sales or Customer Service
- Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 4 years minimum experience in Sales or a similar field
- College degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- ERP and CRM experience
- Prior experience in Steel Products
