Set up, operate, and program dialysis machines according to physician orders.;
Monitor patients during dialysis, assess responses, manage intradialytic problems, and document vitals and treatment data.;
Assess and cannulate vascular access, monitor arterial/venous pressures, and administer heparin as allowed.;
Maintain a safe, clean environment; ensure infection control; prepare labs and documentation on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.;
Participate in CQI activities and educate patients on adequacy measures.
