Operations Manager

This Inside Sales Manager role supports a core rebar manufacturing operation serving highway, construction, and agricultural markets. The position plays a critical role in aligning commercial execution with mill performance and operational metrics.

- Partner with plant leadership to align commercial goals with mill performance
- Collaborate with scheduling and operations to ensure order accuracy and delivery reliability
- Support a culture of safety across commercial and operational teams
You are a commercially disciplined leader who understands how inside sales performance directly impacts mill operations. You are comfortable managing forecasting, inventory, pricing, and cross-functional coordination within a production-driven environment.
- Strong operational awareness and mill-based decision making

- Comfortable managing cash flow, inventory, and margin performance
- Safety-focused in both plant and customer interactions
- Champion a culture of safety and uphold all safety policies and standards
- Lead inside sales operations tied directly to a rebar manufacturing facility
- Develop and execute commercial goals aligned with production capacity
- Manage pricing, margins, and order flow across customer accounts
- Maintain inventory control processes to manage working capital
- Coordinate contract reviews and support commercial agreement alignment
- Drive integration with production scheduling to align orders with mill output
- Support forecasting, analytics, and reporting to guide commercial decisions
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across sales and operations
- Maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring operational discipline
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within rebar manufacturing or an industrial steel environment
- Experience supporting or managing inside sales operations tied to a production facility
- Proven ability to coordinate closely with production scheduling and operations teams
- Experience managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, and supporting cash management
- Strong understanding of pricing structures and margin performance in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate it into operational decisions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as D365
- On-site position based in Marion, Ohio
- Routine travel may be required based on business needs
- Ability to work within an active manufacturing environment
- Potential annual income of $86,000–$115,000 plus annual bonus
