Quality Assurance Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Details

Starting pay $20/ hour plus shift differential

• Complete tasks assigned by the Quality Department Leadership
• Understand and follow all applicable PPE requirements
• Communicate, document, and assist in operator training regarding customer requirements
• Perform and document in-process inspections
• Verify in-process procedures and final products meet quality specifications
• Collaborate with production leads, supervisors, and additional quality support members to correct non-compliance findings and trends
• Aid in addressing recurring issues by conducting appropriate root cause analysis to drive corrective measures
• Identify, disposition, and communicate non-conforming products
• Create and distribute non-conformance reports for both in-process and outsourced materials

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point
• Ability to navigate technical applications on electronic devices
• Knowledge and ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, protractors, feeler gauges)
• Ability to navigate numeric drawings and print diagrams
• Good listening skills>
• Above average reading comprehension
• Ability to analyze and present findings in a clear, concise, and logical manner through above average writing and verbal communication skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2–5 years Quality/MFG experience
• Experience using measuring equipment (tape measure and calipers required)
• Basic knowledge of quality systems and tolerances
• Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate level
