Job Details
Starting pay $20/ hour plus shift differential
Responsibilities- Complete tasks assigned by the Quality Department Leadership
- Understand and follow all applicable PPE requirements
- Communicate, document, and assist in operator training regarding customer requirements
- Perform and document in-process inspections
- Verify in-process procedures and final products meet quality specifications
- Collaborate with production leads, supervisors, and additional quality support members to correct non-compliance findings and trends
- Aid in addressing recurring issues by conducting appropriate root cause analysis to drive corrective measures
- Identify, disposition, and communicate non-conforming products
- Create and distribute non-conformance reports for both in-process and outsourced materials
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point
- Ability to navigate technical applications on electronic devices
- Knowledge and ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, protractors, feeler gauges)
- Ability to navigate numeric drawings and print diagrams
- Good listening skills>
- Above average reading comprehension
- Ability to analyze and present findings in a clear, concise, and logical manner through above average writing and verbal communication skills
- Self‑motivated
- Good organizational skills
- Good time management skills
- Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving
- Ability to work in a flexible and fast‑paced environment
- Proven teamwork and leadership abilities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs repetitively
- Ability to make decisions by self and support with documentation
- Able to prioritize tasks efficiently to meet departmental goals
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations as necessary
- Ability to work in a group setting
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–5 years Quality/MFG experience
- Experience using measuring equipment (tape measure and calipers required)
- Basic knowledge of quality systems and tolerances
- Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate level
