Job Details
1st Shift Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
3rd Shift Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential
3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 7:30pm to 4:00am (overtime until 6:00am)
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
- Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units
- May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
- Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
- Understand and carry out verbal instructions
- Read and carry out simple written instructions
- Read work orders, labels, and schedules
- Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
- Make fraction and decimal conversions
- Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Preferably with experience in manufacturing
- Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
