The Clinical Pharmacist (Infusion Therapy) role supports that mission by providing expert medication therapy management within the Marion General Hospital setting.
Job SummaryThe Clinical Pharmacist is a full‑time variable shift pharmacist who primarily works within central pharmacy operations and staffing, and occasionally fills clinical roles in general medicine. Key responsibilities include dispensing and compounding medication, counseling patients, interpreting prescriptions, managing patient drug therapy, performing drug utilization review, and mentoring pharmacy students and residents.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution (Required)
- Current Ohio pharmacist license (Required)
- Basic Life Support certification (current or obtained during orientation)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (may be required)
- ASHP accredited residency or equivalent hospital pharmacy experience (Preferred)
- Pharmacy Board certifications or other certifications (Preferred)
Job Description
