Overview

Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - Marion General Hospital - 3rd Shift. Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, provides specialized, high-quality, innovative, and responsive support services to the healthcare industry. This role is on the third shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM) Tuesday through Saturday. Salary range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Shift differential applies.

• Troubleshooting equipment sets, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identifying and stopping leaks, rebuilding flush valves.
• Supervising and adjusting the building automation system for patient and staff comfort.
• Generator testing and inspections, replacing light fixtures and light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, and responding to general building issues.
• Using drawings, wiring diagrams, and operations & maintenance manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosing and making repairs.
• Coordinating specialized work with vendors and contractors.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks on the emergency power system, emergency lighting, ice machines and refrigerators, HVAC equipment and other building systems as assigned.
• Conducting building and mechanical room inspections in accordance with the maintenance program.

• 3-5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker/technician preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.
