** We are currently seeking housekeepers, Patient Ambassadors, Cooks, and Dishwashers in your area starting at $18/hr.
*** AM and PM shifts available
* Weekend availability
** We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our housekeeping team!
*** Provide a superior level of cleaning quality in a hospital environment. Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal. Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
** Responsibilities
* ** Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
* Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
* Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
* Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
* Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
** Qualifications
* ** Must be at least 18 years old
* Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
* Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
* Preferred:
Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)
* Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
** Additional Responsibilities for Cooks
*** Prepare, cook, and portion hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes
* Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, steamers, and slicers
* Follow proper food handling, temperature control, and storage procedures
* Maintain cleanliness of cooking stations, equipment, and prep areas
* Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions, consistency standards, and hospital nutrition guidelines
* Accurately label, date, and rotate all food items to maintain freshness
* Collaborate with dietary and clinical staff to support patient dietary needs
* Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal
* Deliver and collect patient menus promptly
* Stocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized work area
* Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal service
* Adhere to all facility health, food safety, and sanitation procedures
* Assist team members and management as needed to ensure efficient department operations
** Physical Requirements
*** Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
* Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
* Must handle chemicals, including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
* Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
