- Serve as a designated lead worker of lower-level support staff engaged in complex, specialized clerical and paraprofessional/technical work.
- Assist Regional Health Officer with management of the regional office.
- Serve as LAN Administrator for the regional office PC network.
- Direct and coordinate regional personnel transactions with Central Office, including new employee orientation and staff benefits training.
- Make administrative arrangements for Long-Term Care hearings.
- Direct and coordinate control, assignment, maintenance and inventory of regional property, equipment, vehicles, supplies, telecommunications system and building maintenance.
- Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of the above responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge, skill and development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in public or business administration.
- One year of professional experience in a public or private organization, or completion of an agency-approved professional management training program.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year experience communicating both verbally and in writing.
- One year experience with personnel policies.
- One year experience serving as lead worker.
- One year experience with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- One year experience monitoring deadlines for projects or reports.
