Chem Design is seeking a Journeyman Millwright. Our open position includes a fantastic benefits package and a straight day shift that allows for a long, four-day weekend every other week.
Key Function:- Responsible for repairing and rebuilding various mechanical equipment in the plant, including rotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failure.
Activities:
- Repairs mechanical equipment breakdowns
- Rebuilds mechanical equipment spares
- Install and uninstall mechanical equipment.
- High school diploma
- Journeyman Millwright
- Knowledge of and experience working in a similar capacity
- Troubleshooting Experience
- Pumps
- Gearboxes
- Reducers
- General Rigging
- Equipment Alignment
- Preventive Maintenance Experience
- Seals & Packing (bonus)
