What you will do

The CO2/ Inergen Assembler works under the direction of the Standard Product Supervisor. The Supervisor schedules the work, but the CO2/Inergen Assembler works independently. Following a defined assembly procedure and using prints, this employee assembles a variety of component parts to make up CO2 Fire Protection Systems. Components include CO2 cylinders, Inergen, tubing, actuators, sensors and switches. This employee must also use Bridgeport boring machine to drill and bore various CO2, Inergen and low-pressure CO2 nozzles.

He/she assures quality and type of components by checking tolerances, rate of rise, electric and pneumatic actuators and conducts pressure and water testing on cylinders and valves (up to 6000 psi). The assembler works on Returned Material Authorizations (RMS's). Job duties involve production of a multitude of parts (many of which are low volume production items and scheduled infrequently), keeping and recording various records and 100% Inspection Forms according to ESTP, ESMP, ESRP, and ESQP Books.

The assembler fills government records and production orders and stamps employee identification on valves. This employee must have valid Tyco forklift license and will move parts on the 2nd shift. This position requires Associates placed in the position to successfully complete specific training. These training requirements can be located on the Marinette Operations Training Matrix. The company reserves the right to rotate employees to other departments or work assignments within the organization as needed based upon skill set, production needs, etc.
