Retail Merchandising Specialist – BDS Connected Solutions, LLC

Earn weekly pay and receive paid training in a part‑time, on‑call environment that supports independent projects with renowned consumer electronics brands.

• Diverse assignments across retail environments

• 20+ hours per week, Monday‑Friday early morning to midday, occasional weekend hours

Support includes a dedicated BDS Field Manager, instructional videos via a user‑friendly app, and a virtual call center for live assistance.

• Travel to assigned retail stores within your territory to conduct visits
• Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products (TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, phones)
• Collaborate on 2–3‑person projects such as appliance or TV installs
• Build and maintain positive in‑store relationships
• Complete assignments as directed by your BDS Manager
• Submit reports on time using your personal mobile device
• Schedule and complete work per BDS Standards and Expectations (provided during onboarding)
• Receive materials at home or pick them up at Fed Ex and take them to retail locations as requested
• Perform other tasks as requested by management

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Preferred previous merchandising, customer service, and/or retail experience
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills to collaborate with BDS and in‑store personnel
• Proficiency using a personal Android or Apple device (smartphone/tablet) with GPS to upload photos, report assignment data, and reference documents
• Basic toolkit ownership (reimbursement after successful probation; toolkit includes multi‑screwdriver, torx set, hammer, cordless drill, allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle nose pliers, wire cutters, crescent wrench, putty knife, microfiber cloth, goo‑gone)
• Completion of required BDS online training courses within the specified timeline
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship; 18+ years of age

• Flexible availability Monday–Friday early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours
• Minimum 20 hours per week
• Ability to drive on behalf of the company with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
• Capacity to travel within a 60‑mile radius of the designated market (BDS reimburses drive time and mileage between store locations)

• Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk, hear, and drive
• Regularly lift and carry 40+ pounds
• Climb ladders over 10 feet tall
• Complete/pass certification (online and in‑store) to use moving equipment (e.g., Big Joe/Little Joey, forklifts) if required
• Occasional travel via flight or other modes of transportation

The pay range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on individual qualifications and business needs. All compensation will comply with applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage laws and regulations.
