HIRING! for a Home Health Director of Patient Care Services in Carmel, CA, close to the Monterey area.
ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) provides oversight and support of all patient care and associated personnel for assigned program(s). The DPCS oversees patient and personnel assignments, coordination of care, coordination of referrals, assessment of patient needs, and ensures the plan of care is developed, implemented, and updated. The DPCS is responsible for the services provided by the home health and hospice programs and strives to provide the highest quality of care through all service lines.
The DPCS is responsible for staff engagement, development and performance, including policy, regulatory and compliance knowledge and adherence. The DPCS is always available during operating hours (or designates a similarly qualified alternate) and participates in all activities relevant to assigned programs including setting/developing and executing strategic goals, budgets and staffing models.
- RN license to practice in California and current CPR certification.
- Three years experience as a Home Health Supervisor required, five years preferred.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and critical thinking to supervise and coordinate clinical professionals and agency support staff.
- Ability to learn to effectively operate computer hardware and software programs.
Salary: $155,000 - $170,000.
Annual Bonus: $20,000 (possibly more depending on KPIs).
