- Inspection and helping with repair and fabricating of a variety of industrial pumps and other rotating equipment - includes inspecting, troubleshooting, disassembly, and repair.
- Inspection and installation of equipment using manufacturer specifications ensuring proper tolerance and specifications.
- Read and understand an IOM and BOM.
- Help with general operations of warehouse including receiving, shipping, cleaning and organizing, and making deliveries as required.
- Perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations.
- Must have some industrial mechanical experience.
- Must support drug free policy.
- Must have enthusiastic personality willing to learn and ready to help.
- Must be customer focused and ability to work with others.
- Must possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States with an acceptable driving record according to company guidelines; and must pass a DOT physical.
- Must be able to operate a forklift.
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, and service manuals with ability to work with basic math.
- Must have ability to use a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to act in a self-directed manner with no immediate supervision.
- Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors as required.
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds multiple times daily.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.
- Must be able to pull or push 100 lbs. occasionally with assistance.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- May be exposed to elements and outdoor temperatures.
- Training available.
Able to lift 20 pounds multiple times a day; lift 50 pounds with assistance and push/pull 100 lbs. with assistance.
Working ConditionsWarehouse and mechanical shop area with periodic opportunities to be outdoors. Warehouse and shop do not have air conditioning.
Training/CertificationsN/A.
Shift Time/OvertimeDay shift, part time or full-time pending candidate. Overtime periodically required.
TravelPotential travel to customer sites.
EducationHigh School Diploma.
