. This position is offered by Reliable Onsite Services, a division of the world’s largest equipment rental company. The Equipment Associate will ensure all portable sanitation equipment leaving the yard is rent‑ready and meets our quality standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Perform routine checks on portable sanitation equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order, including inspecting, washing, repairing, and/or storing.
- Handle general facility maintenance and minor repairs.
- Load and unload units, manually or with forklift as required.
- Use drill, rivet tool, and other hand tools as needed.
- Ensure supplies are onsite and organized.
- Accurately load trucks for the next day with units cleaned and repaired to standards.
- Set up and maintain a clean, organized yard.
- Maintain inventory spaces and communicate accurate counts to Dispatch.
- Verify rent‑ready status of all units before loading.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping of shop, yard, and facility.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Diligent attention to safety.
- General knowledge of yard equipment and truck loading/unloading.
- Industry experience is a plus; training will be provided.
- Superior customer service and positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
- Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions.
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive under United Rentals’ policies and procedures.
