Security Officer - DOD Armed Dispatch Team Aero/Defense
Location: Marietta, GA
Position Type: Part‑time
Pay Rate: $27.03 / Hour
Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM;
Sun 01:45 PM – 10:00 PM

- Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications, including calls and radio traffic, to support site operations.
- Dispatch security‑related personnel to incidents and requests for assistance throughout the location as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch activities and incidents in accordance with site‑specific policies.
- Coordinate with on‑site staff and security‑related teams to facilitate prompt response to emergencies and critical situations.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points through electronic systems or physical verification.
- Provide customer service by addressing inquiries from employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner.
- Support regular and random patrols by communicating updates and relaying important information to patrolling personnel.
- Follow site‑specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols to deter unauthorized activities and respond to incidents.
- Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
- Armed guard card or license as required by law.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
- Handcuffing certification preferred; may be completed post‑hire.
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Drug screen as permitted by law.
- Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
