We are seeking a test technician for our chemistry at our lab in Marietta, GA. The primary responsibilities of the Chemistry Technician II are assisting the chemists and senior chemists in conducting analyses and sample preparation. Technicians also conduct some routine tests that require some data interpretation.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct sample preparation and assist in performing tests.
* Follow lab processes, test specifications, and perform moderately complex tests
* Identify equipment and/or maintenance issues and troubleshoot problems
* Engage with other teams/departments as needed
* Use tools/systems to track work
* Gather and interpret data with guidance from others
* Operate equipment as needed
* Perform maintenance of the lab equipment
* Update chemical and equipment inventories
* Operate independently to complete tasks and responsibilities
* Other duties as assigned
