Develop and execute a strategic approach to sell and retain customers in mid‑tier dealer groups (5‑29 stores) across your region. You will own new business growth at the group level, building a pipeline of forecasted opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quota objectives.
Role and Responsibilities- Develop a customer acquisition and account management plan to penetrate new mid‑tier dealer group market segments; determine clear lines of ownership and responsibility for partnering with individual Business Development Managers.
- Establish strong group‑level relationships at the group leadership level to drive top‑down growth strategy.
- Develop a detailed understanding of organizational structure, ongoing group priorities, and key measurements of success.
- Maintain client relationships to increase retention and create new business opportunities.
- Build a pipeline of forecasted opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quota objectives.
- Establish strong internal communication to collaborate with the existing sales and account management teams.
- Collaborate with fellow mid‑tier sales colleagues and Mastermind leadership to develop best practices and ongoing strategy for increasing dealer group adoption.
- 7+ years SaaS sales experience, preferably in Enterprise and new business sales.
- Previous success with complex sales involving multiple decision makers and sales cycles of 6+ months.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations for executive levels within dealer groups.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organizations.
- Experience working with financial and data analytics for measuring dealer performance.
- Good working knowledge of the partner ecosystem within the automotive space.
- Experience working with dealer groups within an assigned region.
Approximately 80% travel within the region and nationally as needed. Residence near a major airport may be required. A valid driver’s license is required to perform the role.
