Responsibilities- Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries; based on assessment, sell pest‑control solutions and preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Technicians to generate opportunities.
- Partner with Branch Manager to develop proposals that resolve existing pest issues and propose additional services to existing customers.
- Complete Home diagrams using the Sales CRM to ensure a clear understanding of customer homes and potential challenges.
- Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
- Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure satisfactory completion.
- Maintain daily activities and track sales performance using the company CRM.
- Move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects.
- Move around frequently: sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles, and maintain balance on narrow or slippery surfaces.
- Handle various pests (spiders, flies, mosquitoes, rodents, etc.) and work in small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle and keep the vehicle and equipment clean.
- Wear PPE, such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and work in confined spaces or narrow aisles as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license for the state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided).
- Strong interpersonal, customer‑service, and communication skills; sales‑related experience or training is highly preferred.
- Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest‑technician or sales experience.
- Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within the assigned territory.
