The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of the products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, and interacting with consumers in a professional manner. The role requires a polished personal appearance and adherence to the company’s presentation standards.

Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

• Proactively intercept, engage, and interact with consumers to promote and sell products.
• Communicate the features and benefits of products effectively.
• Prepare and serve food samples using kitchen appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station with appropriate cleaning chemicals.
• Set up and prepare the event table for demonstrations.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned tasks.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports in accordance with company policy.
• Submit all online requirements on the same day as the event execution.
• Access the Internet, navigate company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.

  Experience:
  
  High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Proficient in using personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handler permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (with occasional lifts up to 50 pounds). Push and pull a fully laden demonstration cart. Prepare foods and beverages using kitchen appliances. Handle cleaning supplies.

• Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
• Physical Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and appropriate grooming. Follow retailer dress code provided in training documents.
