Food Service Worker​/Cashier

We are hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions at Life University (1100 Barclay Circle, Marietta, GA 30060). Online applications are accepted only. Schedule will be discussed during the interview; duties may vary by day and hours.

Requirements:
Prior cooking, food preparation, dishwashing, or grill experience is preferred.

Performs cashiering duties, including general food service work, while maintaining sanitation standards in the preparation, service, and dining room facilities.

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards; distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a customer‑oriented manner.
• Relay relevant information to the supervisor.
• Perform sales transactions: enter sales into the cash register, make change, accept cards and other payment forms, issue receipts, and follow procedures for cash refunds.
• Maintain cash drawer in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
