Position: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position:
Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

We seek compassionate and organized nurses who are passionate about caring for our residents. Nurses must support our philosophy of care and perform all duties professionally. They serve as role models for our staff. Candidates must hold a current RN or LPN license.

Responsibilities:
  • Record residents’ medical histories accurately.
  • Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
  • Observe residents under treatment to identify progress or medication side effects.
  • Monitor residents’ conditions, including fluid intake and output, and maintain patient charts.
  • Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas, and assist with wound care and other basic medical tasks.
  • Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support to residents when needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents’ families or friends.
  • Skills:
    • Proven experience as an LPN or RN or in a similar role.
    • Ability to perform diverse care tasks and work within a multidisciplinary team.
    • Familiarity with state health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
    • Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
    • Excellent medical knowledge.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate nature.
    • Successful completion of an LPN/RN licensure program is required.
