Digital Press Operator – 3rd Shift (10:00 PM – 06:00 AM)

On-the-Job Training Provided | Monday – Friday 1st Shift 6AM- 2PM

Fortis Solutions Group is seeking a Digital Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate 25K HP Narrow Web and HP Wide Web digital presses to produce high-quality printed labels. This is a 3rd shift position, and on-the-job training will be provided to ensure you are fully confident running our presses.

• Set up and operate HP Narrow Web and HP Wide Web digital presses according to job tickets.
• Monitor the press for quality, consistency, color density, and scaling during production.
• Inspect incoming materials and finished rolls to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Record production data, material usage, and job notes in the ERP system.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and housekeeping of press equipment.
• Communicate with Shift Supervisors and Production Managers about any production issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and complete on-the-job training as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of press or printing-related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of press operation, troubleshooting, and quality standards.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including ERP systems.

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Frequent standing, lifting, crouching, walking, and repetitive tasks.

• Manufacturing/warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, ink, and variable temperatures.
• Required PPE: safety shoes/boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, cut-resistant gloves.

• Work on advanced HP Narrow Web and Wide Web presses.
• Stable 3rd shift schedule, Monday – Friday.
• On-the-job training provided for skill growth and development.
• Be part of a fast-paced, high-quality production team.
