Plant Manager

We are conducting a confidential search for a Plant Manager with a client company of ours that is a global supplier of industrial components to the automotive, machinery, and automation markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Marietta, GA.

This Sr.

-level position will partner with the leadership team in translating business strategy into action that drives business results for this key location.

• Participate as lead staff member responsible for operation and performance of entire operation
• Lead multi-disciplined plant team in meeting monthly forecasts and appropriate business metric
• Develop strategic manufacturing direction and planning for 1-3 year planning horizon
• Direct preparation of operational budgets and coordinates capital plans, appropriation requests, and project follow up
• Accountable for leading manufacturing, environment, health & safety, engineering, quality, human resources, and finance to achieve business objectives
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing process
• Analyze and implement process flow, inventory and velocity improvements

• 3+ years experience as a Plant Manager and/or Operations Manager
• P&L responsibility
• Metals-related experience is a plus
• Experience with Toyota Production System and other Lean Manufacturing principles
